Nestled in the mountains of Paradise Valley, our Joshua Tree Project stands as a testament to exquisite craftsmanship. This 8,196 square feet spec build was designed for a developer, Temac Development, alongside Mark Candelaria as the architect. From the foundation to the finishing touches, we spared no detail in creating this home – a blend of organic elements from the surrounding landscape seamlessly integrated with clean lines and natural textures. The soft, muted desert tones that permeate the space enhance its ambiance, providing a level of unmatched comfort.
Inspired by the classic Andalusian-influenced homes of Santa Barbara with a modern twist, the design strikes a perfect balance between fresh, contemporary elements and timeless, classic features. It seamlessly integrates organic elements from the surrounding landscape, including Camelback and Mummy Mountain. The home's linear composition features a core gallery running the full length of the lot, allowing every room to capture breathtaking mountain views. Soft, muted desert tones create a serene ambiance, while materials like stone and wood harmonize with the desert setting. Large windows and open spaces invite natural light, offering stunning 360-degree views and fostering a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The landscape features a raised, reverse negative edge pool reflecting Mummy Mountain, while the front includes a center axis walkway with a linear water feature and two courtyards. Every aspect of this home is designed to offer a harmonious living experience, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces.
